First time out at 07 Zero Sette for The Redfords Trio!. Situated right outside the entrance to Excel and in stark architectural contrast it is ideally situated to take full advantage of its close proximity to London’s premier Exhibition centre.

We vary rarely eat in the same venue we perform, invariably we travel into town after set up to find a good Italian restaurant in which to Chill. Staff 07 Zero Sette would hear none of it and promptly invited us into the kitchen to watched Chef make and bake 5 large individual pizzas in true Master Chef style. Fantastic !!!

Our Client this evening were DESMI Ro-Clean Ltd who have developed a large range of equipment to recover oil from the sea, rivers and lakes. Their equipment has been used in many major oil spill response operations around the world. The evening had been arranged for them to talk to customers in softer more intimate environment than the exhibition centre. Our task to provide background music and some focus for dancing a little later in the evening.
07 Zero Sette was closed to the general public and guest began to arrive around 6.30pm, By 7.00 we had begun to play, setting the mood with a few American song book ballads. At 8.00pm guest were invited to help themselves to an beautiful Italian buffett in a separate dining area.

By 9.00pm we were taking the mood up a notch and the songs began to be a little more foot tapping! At midnight we had to stop as there was still another day of exhibiting to look forward to the next day. We did however play for a further 30mins at the request of the Vice president.!! Who were we to refuse!!
