Best Music of 2010, The Redfords, Wedding band.
2010 was a mixed bag for music. Trend setters raved about new and exciting genres like Dubstep and Chiptune but these were largely ignored in favour of songs we actually like. It was a year of Ga Ga and Justin Bieber, Cheryl Cole and The Wanted. We saw the return of Robbie to Take That and the rise of Rihanna to the top of the single charts sales.
The Redfords have seen many of these 2010 songs make it on to our set list some are keepers some have already gone.
So this year i thought it would be interesting to make up a “best of list ” of our favourite albums and singles. and a best of new additions to the set. Many of these are Brit nominees for 2011 and some are new discovered from recent years but as you can see we have varied musically tastes and heritage which certainly makes for interesting dressing room discussions between sets.
Hopefully there will be some you’ve heard before and maybe some new ideas to check out!
