The Surrey wedding of Lucy and Dom. Took place at Great Fosters Hotel On the beautiful afternoon that was the 30th November 2012. The grounds of the hotel were frost covered and sparkling in winter sunshine. Great Fosters had gone to great lengths with this Surrey wedding. Staff had decorated the hotel in preparation for Christmas. For this Surrey wedding band this was the first Christmas wedding of the 2012 season.

Lucy had chosen Pachalbel’s Canon in D as her processional music.
Dom and Lucy were quite specific about the music for the rest of the ceremony requesting that “
during the ceremony we really want our guests to be upbeat and happy so we would like a congregational song before the signing of the register: Can’t take my eyes off you – Andy Williams – REDFORDS Acoustic TRIO
We are asking everyone to get up on their feet and singing with you - the only bit we are slightly unsure of is the “big band” bit, but we could just put words in for this “du duh, du duh, du du duh duh duh duh….etc!”
For the signing of the register, the 3 songs chosen for the Trio to perform were:
At Last – Etta James -
If I aint got you – Alicia Keys -
Better Together – Jack Johnson -
Finally the recessional song was the upbeat version of:
It must be love – Madness –
Following the ceremony family and friends moved next door to the reception bar for mulled wine champagne and canopays and were further entertained by the Redfords Trio.

Your Song – based it on the Ellie Goulding version. Guest were soon up and dancing for the rest of the night even between set … well … save the musical interlude courtesy of Lucy’s dad Mark and co. who treated us to a bit of a Blues Brothers and Gangman style cabaret..
We have feel like we have got to know Dom and Lucy over the past 18 months as they have been to see us perform on a 2 or 3 occasions, they make a great couple and we wish them all the best for the future.
God Bless
