When do the band set up?

The Redfords prefer to set up early wherever possible without extra cost to avoid the undignified disruption of back stage crew invading your setting with flight cases and sound checks etc. This of course is not always possible either due to travel or space restrictions. In such cases preparation behind the scene is our best option. The Redfords are also flexible with stage or performance area restrictions by using different equipment for smaller or sound limited environments.

How will the acoustic duo enhance our day ?

The Redfords acoustic duo are able to provide live music for your entrance to the ceremony, during the signing of the register and the procession. They will also be on hand to provide live music for the drinks reception or Wedding breakfast.

What is the format for the evening?

The Redfords takes pride in offering to perform any reasonable first dance of your choice and will learn it before the night if necessary. For receptions due to finish at midnight the band usually perform three sets one before the buffet and two afterwards. For receptions finishing at 1 am an extra set can be added. Set are nominally 45 minutes each. Our pre mixed disco or clients own mix can be played between sets to add a musical dynamic and to ensure seamless entertainment .The Redfords always dress and perform formally in black tie with black  dress for the female vocalist. They feel that personal presentation and projection is a very important part of the overall performance and should display a clean stylish look with a positive but not bullish image.To ensure guests take away fond memories of the evening ‘The Redfords’ produce documentary/reportage photos of the event that are available free from the website in low resolution or professionally printed at reasonable cost.
