I am Victoria Marsh the owner of Bon Bon Cakes based in Herne Bay, Kent. I started my business in 2017 and am fully registered and insured. I have a 5 star food hygiene rating and Level 2 in ‘Food and Hygiene Safety’. I started out seven years ago with my mother-in-law from ‘Whats Up Cupcake’ based in Whitstable, where I learnt the basics of buttercream cakes, the rest is self-taught. I married three years ago at the East Quay Venue in Whitstable with the amazing Redfords and most recently had my first baby.
Buttercream cake sampling in Kent
‘For the buttercream cake sampling, it is a great chance for you as a couple or with your maid of honour, bridesmaid or mum to kick off the final count down to the wedding day. It is also ideal to meet with you to get to know the type of wedding you want to achieve. I recommend couples contact me at least a year before the big day to confirm the date is available and book in the buttercream cake sampling consultation. Sampling takes place in my home in Herne Bay around 3 months before the wedding. I love every part of wedding planning so I am on hand at all times to help with guidance, advice, supplier recommendations and even inspiration.’
Fresh, natural produce
I only use fresh, natural ingredients and bake as close to the date as possible, This ensures your cake lasts for up to a week after wedding day.
On the day
Victoria will work with your suppliers and make the organising process as seamless as possible for you. She will liaise with your florist to organise fresh flowers for the cake if you wish. To ensure your cake gets there safely she will discuss delivery with your venue. Bon Bon Cakes can also provide a variety of styles, showcased in traditional tiered cake, a tower of cupcakes with a cutting cake. Perhaps you would like a selection of brownies, blondies and rocky road to be offered as an alternative dessert.
