Do you only play in Kent?

Are sound limiters and noise restrictions an issue?
The Redfords are committed to providing high-quality music entertainment while respecting the noise levels set by local authorities. We use state-of-the-art sound equipment that ensure we remain within the sound limits set by the local authoritiese. In addition, we work closely with venues to ensure that our events comply with all noise restrictions.
Can you play our first dance live?
Our band is thrilled to learn and perform the perfect first dance song for you, tailored to your preferred genre and style. Choose from our extensive repertoire of pop, rock, soul, R&B, and beyond. Don’t see your favorite on our SETLIST page? Just let us know and we’ll happily learn it for you. We want your special day to be flawless, starting with your unforgettable first dance. How do the photos work?
A professional photographer is an important part of any event. They help to capture memories that would otherwise be lost and provide a way to relive the event long after it is over. Our events photographer is on hand to capture those unique dance floor moments at no extra cost. Pictures of the evening are loaded to a private dedicated website. You can download your favourite low-resolution images free of charge. High-resolution images are available for a small fee and are provided on a USB stick.
How long is your set up time?
With over 100 weddings and events played every year, The Redfords know how to set up the perfect stage for your big day. We’ll have you dancing the night away in no time- it only takes us about 50 minutes to an hour to set up once we have access to the performance area. And if you want us to set everything up even earlier – we also offer an early set up option to guarantee everything is absolutely perfect before your guests arrive.
How much space do you need?
We’re bringing our carpet to protect your marble and wooden floors. It measures 16 feet by 8 feet, giving us plenty of space to set up. But don’t worry if you have a smaller area – just give us a call and we’ll work together to make it happen! We can’t wait to bring our stylish touch to your next event.

Do you play requests?
Get ready to dance all night to your favourite beats! Our live band and professional real DJ are ready to play your requested songs all evening long. Plus, we’re happy to take more requests as the night goes on. We’ll even touch base ahead of time to make sure we hit all your must-play songs.
What happens before the day?
At Redfords, we value personalised service and attention to detail. Before anything happens, we will have a one-on-one consultation zoom or call with you to ensure that all the necessary details are covered. This way we can anticipate and fulfill your every need, and clear up any doubts or questions you may have. Can we see you play live?
While we typically perform at exclusive private events (over 100 per year!), we do have a few select public gigs on our calendar. Can you use your speakers and mics for background music and the speeches?
If you need a microphone for speeches and back ground music played during the wedding breakfast, we highly recommend using our microphone. This will ensure that your guests can hear everything clearly and that the music is played at an appropriate volume. We have a wide range of microphones available for rent, so you can choose the one that best suits your needs. We also offer delivery and setup service, so you don’t have to worry about a thing. You’ll hear all your favourites from Rihanna to The Beatles, The Killers to Spice Girls, Abba to Blink 182, Lizzo to A-Ha, Queen to Mumford and Sons and so very much more. How long is your performance?
The Redfords are a versatile band that can tailor their setlist to suit any event. You choose either three 45-minute sets (the best choice in our opinion) or two 65-minute sets, this will make sure that your guests are entertained all night long. With a wide range of popular covers , they are guaranteed to get everyone up on their feet and dancing. In addition to the live music, The Redfords Free Real DJ service will keep the party going in between live music sets. So if you’re looking for a band that can provide non-stop entertainment, the Redfords are the perfect choice.
Do you have a real DJ?
Our free real DJ service is perfect for any event, big or small. Whether you’re looking for someone to play music from your own playlist or our extensive list of tried and tested dance floor-filling flexible playlists, we’ve got you covered. Our real DJ can take requests and make announcements on the night, ensuring that your guests are always entertained. With a vast amount of popular songs from all genres, our real manned DJ service is sure to make your event a night to remember.
Do you provide all the sound and lighting needed for my event?
We understand that the right sound and lighting can make all the difference at an event. Whether you’re hosting a small gathering or a large-scale celebration, we have the equipment and expertise to ensure that your evening sounds and looks its best. The stage set up is industry leading, with the very best professional sound and lighting equipment suitable for events unto 500 people. The band also has a professional stage pipe and drape set up, which enhances their live show experience and keeps the stage looking clean and tidywe’ll make sure that your event is an unforgettable experience for your guests.
Are you an agency? What happens if you are ill?
At The Redfords, we understand that your wedding day is one of the most important days of your life. That’s why we offer a unique service that is tailored to your specific needs. We are a wedding band, not a music agency, and we only book one band wedding per day. This ensures that the continuity and quality of our product is not compromised. The same musicians will attend every wedding, and we have trusted deputy musicians who will attend in the event of illness. This allows us to provide a seamless service that will make your wedding day truly unforgettable.
Do you need feeding?
The Redfords don’t need hot meals, but if you could add us to any evening buffets, that would be great! Just make sure you and your guests are taken care of first.
Do we offer acoustic music for the daytime?
An acoustic duo specialising in wedding music. They offer a wide range of services to make your wedding ceremony or reception one to remember. With the ceremony and over two hours of live music during the day, they can learn and perform pretty much any songs you request to make your ceremony extra special. The Redfords Acoustic Duo also provide live background music during the drinks reception, ensuring that guests are entertained whilst the official photography takes place.
Do you offer a late finish?
Do you have an event that’s running late into the night? Keep the party going with our late finish service! We’ll make sure everything is taken care of so you can enjoy your event to the fullest with our care finish option. Until 1am
What are your party hats and props?
After the formal first dance is over, people like to let their hair down and party. Our now famous big box of party hats and props will make a welcome addition to the party. The optional box includes an assortment of items such as party hats, glasses and wigs. With these props, guests can let loose and have some fun. And because the props are all stored in a single box, they’re easy to set up and take down at the end of the night. So whether you’re planning a small get-together or a large celebration, our party props will help you create an event that everyone will remember.
Do you have Light Up Love Letters?
Our optional Light up love letters are a fun and unique way to add some extra flair to your event. Whether you’re planning a wedding, a birthday party, or even a corporate event, these towering letters are sure to make an impact. Not only do they look great in photos, but they also provide a warm and inviting atmosphere for your guests. When is the best time to book a band for my wedding?
