The Ladies Festival of Gaynor and James 28th April 2012

All but 100 people attended this sumptuous Ladies festival at the Royal Berkshire Hotel Ascot. The weekend weather was not particularly  pleasant , it was quite chilly and definitely wet. Fortunately Gaynor and James and their entire family radiated warmth and happiness the whole evening.

We were fortunate enough to be involved right from the start of proceeding as George our sound engineer doubles as a toast master and is able to sing the infamous ladies Song.

The banquet began at 6.30 PM and culminated an a short series of well delivered speeches by lodge members, Gaynor’s auntie Barbara and of course James himself gave an excellent response to the his toast which was proposed by his brother.

Dancing commenced at around 10.00pm and was only interrupted for a short while to facilitate the drawing of the charity raffle which raise the sum of £400.
